The Fundamentals of Management – 2 Day
Programme overview
This is a 2 day programme that looks at the knowledge, skills and behaviours that are required to manage effectively. The programme will look at individual management styles and offer tools for the participant's managers toolkit. Core competency areas include management, planning and communication. It will explore the various ways in which we communicate and how a need for flexibility is required in our responses.
Managing yourself is an important part of the role of manager; this will be examined through differing approaches to managing time and assertiveness. Planning is an essential part of the role of manager and the session will explore different techniques to ensure short term and long term planning is effective. This programme establishes a benchmark for management competency. From here the participants will be able to use the knowledge learned to manage themselves and their workplace more effectively and efficiently.
